The Waianae coast is seperated by the Wai'anae range from the rest of the Oahu. The pretty cliffs and valleys make for fantastic hiking. Some say this geographical divide is symbolic of the difference of this coast to the rest of Hawaii. There are few tourists here which may be the attraction or the deterent. The beaches are magnificent, although can be treacherous during winter.
