Little wooden cane houses line the streets of this former sugar town. The old mill which stood as a reminder of the town's once booming economy. Typical of the subtropical climate of the Windward Coast, Kahuku is often rainy. The long beach is not so great for swimming but is a popular option for a 5 mile hike to towards Turtle Bay.
