Just 20 minutes from Waikiki the coast curves around the tip of Ko’olau Range toward the immense volcanic backdrop of Diamond Head tuff cone and crater. Naturally, activities lend themselves to water sports, but hiking and history still play a part in and around the region.
And for the seduction of man-made attractions, there is always the lure of the luxurious neighborhood of Kahala, the preferred retreat of many celebrities and dignitaries.
