Maui Ocean Center invites you to experience the best of Hawaii's marine life at one of the top aquariums in the world. Through years of research and meticulous care, Maui Ocean Center has gathered the most unique collection of Hawaii’s marine life. As a result, what would take weeks, if not a lifetime to explore in the wild, can easily be seen in a leisurely stroll through the facility in one day.
See sharks, stingrays, green sea turtles, sea jellies, moray eels, thousands of tropical fish, and more, or travel through a 54 ft tunnel inside a 750,000-gallon water exhibit. For spectacular views and island-inspired cuisine, visit Maui Ocean Center’s Seascape Ma‘alaea Restaurant, or for a world-class shopping experience explore the Maui Ocean Center Store with its plush and collectable animal species, postcards, nature books, fine artwork, jewelry and Hawaiiana.
To enhance the learning experience, digital audio guides, available at the park’s information booth, provide colorful commentary on the animals that call Hawaii home, while expert naturalists are always nearby to answer any questions visitors may have. An average visit to the Hawaiian Aquarium lasts approximately one and a half to two hours, but most visitors stay longer to absorb the breathtaking experience.
Special Events
Maui Ocean Center offers the most unique venue for an exciting and educational day tour or an exclusive and unforgettable evening event. The exclusive evening events offer a unique open-air setting with unforgettable sunsets, incredible food, and exciting enhancements for up to 950 people.
