Haena has charming houses built on high stilts, a peaceful township, a beautiful small beach and large caves to explore. Holidaying here will ensure you truly disconnect from modern day stress and worries.

Haena State Park houses two wet caves, Waikapala'e and Waikanaloa, both are considered to be a little dangerous and divers only brave the cold, dark and deep waters occasionally. The 'dry' cave Maniniholo is across from Haena Beach Park.

Things to do

  • Visit the lush Limahuli Garden, waterfalls, endangered flora and ancient stone terraces.
  • Laze on Tunnels Beach, snorkel or dive when the water is calm.
  • Brave the wet or dry caves around Haena.
  • Get up close to Ke'e Beach's local tropical fish.
  • Take your first steps towards the Napali Coast on the Kalalau Trail.
