Within a few miles of the Poipu Kai Resort there are excellent restaurants including Roy's, owned by famous Hawaiian chef Roy Yamaguchi. There is also the Beach House with a spectacular view of the sunset. A few miles inland is Old Koloa Town, a charming area of quaint restaurants, gift shops and clothing stores.
