Hawaiian Surfing Adventures is Kauai’s premier surf lesson and equipment hire company. Lessons are taught by Mitchell Alapa, a native Hawaiian who has dedicated his life to surfing on Kauai, as well as eleven other lifeguard, water safety licensed instructors.
Services include surfing lessons, surfboard rentals (soft boards, hard boards, short boards, etc), Surf Safaris (we can recommend instructors and guides from other islands too), vacation beach rental, vacation and activity planning, and more.
Hawaiian Surfing Adventures has a unique system for surfing instruction that includes safe equipment and teaches you the basic knowledge of surfing before you go out in the ocean. They use soft-top surfboards as equipment, watch the ocean and the waves together with clients and talk about ocean safety, teach paddle and positioning yourself on the board, and teach you to start reading the waves.

Group lesson are $65.00 per person, semi-private lessons are $75.00 per person, and private lessons are $95.00.
