Oriented toward all things watery, Kealakekua Bay is a mecca for environmentally conscious snorkelers, divers and kayakers, and all those with a particular leaning toward the intricacies of the underwater world.
Both a state park and a marine-life conservation area it is home to a prolific array of spectacular tropical fish, ancient turtles, curious spinner dolphins, and a host of weird and wonderful endangered sea creatures that defy the imagination of mere landlubbers!
Set among the dramatic backdrops of submerged cliffs, caves, lava formations and flowering coral gardens it inspires activities for disciples of Neptune and other seafarers.
